Retreat

7th and 8th Grade: October 6th-8th

9th and 12th Grade: January 12th - 14th

The cost covers lodging, transportation, meals, activities, and leader costs. Students will only need extra money for snacks from the retreat cafe.

A packing list will be emailed after registration. We are asking each student to limit themselves to a book bag and small suitcase because of limited space in our transportation. Students can bring their own snacks. They will want to have athletic clothing and shoes for outdoor activities. Every student will need a Bible and a Journal. If you need assistance in finding one for your student please reach out to your Campus Youth Staff.

We will have snacks and late night food available for purchase. While it is not necessary to send additional money, we recommend $20 for the weekend.

No cell phones are allowed at retreat. We want the retreat to be a distraction-free week for students, and few things distract students as much as their phones. Over the years, we’ve found that taking students out of their regular routine opens them up to hear from Jesus in ways they haven’t before. Before we leave for retreat, we will give you a contact number for emergencies only. All of our leaders will have cell phones so your student will have access to a phone if they need to reach you.

If we have an issue with your student breaking the rules or any other behavioral issues, you will be contacted and will need to come pick up your student. This will be handled on a case-by-case basis depending on the rules that are broken.

Transportation is provided as part of your registration. Every Seacoast Campus will provide their own transportation to and from Camp Bob Cooper. Your Custom Youth Staff will email you specific instructions as to when and where drop off for departure takes place. Depending on your campus location, you may need to get your student out of school early.  If you are planning on bringing your student directly to retreat or picking them up from retreat, please email us at customstudents@seacoast.org so we can make a note on your student’s registration.

Camp Bob Cooper features a state-of-the-art dining hall, which offers buffet-style meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We will also feature a snack shop which will be open during free time and late at night for students to purchase good and refreshments. If your student has food allergies, please indicate this on the registration form. Camp Bob Cooper is set up to accommodate most food allergies. And its dining hall is peanut free. If your student has extreme food allergies, please email us at customstudents@seacoast.org so we can work with you directly and Camp Bob Cooper to make sure we can accommodate your student. 

Camp Bob Cooper is set up so that every student has a twin bed to sleep in! Lodging is set up in rooms right beside each other with 7 bunk beds in each room. There is a separate boys and girls motel lodge. There is at least one leader in each room. Each lodge has its own showers and bathrooms available for students. 

Yes. We will have a security/safety team at Camp Bob Cooper to ensure your students' safety. For every ten students, there will be a volunteer room leader. This leader has been background checked and interviewed. In addition, Camp Bob Cooper provides additional security 24/7.
